With the run also incorporated in the Clubs Internal Road Running Championships there were points up for grabs at Victoria Park. Proving that the club's future is in good hands young Bobby Birkett was not only the club's first finisher but also the first to finish overall in a new PB of 17m.54s an excellent time given Bobby's age and the undulating nature of the course.
Not far behind was Bobby's father Chris, who was second to cross the line in 18m.10s. Next club finisher was Matt Blake recording a time of 20m.
04s. On a successful day for the Birkett family Female Junior Lily Birkett was first lady to finish and 8th overall crossing the line in a new PB of 20m.28s.
Husband and Wife duo Susan and Martin Johnson were next to follow with Susan posting a new PB of 22m.03s and Martin crossing the line in 23m.02s taking 21st and 34th places respectively.
Next up was Jane Ashcroft who ran 29m.08s for 115th position. Completing the Birkett family turnout Mother Sarah ran round with young Stanley crossing the line together in 31m.
39s Stanley taking 157th position and Sarah 158th . Jane Makin (245th) and Louise Hill (260th ) completed the clubs turnout Jane timing 41m.27s with Louise posting a time of 47m.
26s. Meanwhile on Sunday at the Warrington A.C.
Open Medal Meeting at the same named Victoria Park in Warrington three of the Clubs Athletes made the Podium. Senior Ethan Vine took 2nd place to win a Silver in the 400m , with Lucas Vine and Oliver Sharp both picking up Bronze Medals for finishing 3rd in the U15 Boys 800m and 100m respectively..
