One of the most respected players in football history, Bobby Moore , would have celebrated his 84th birthday today. The West Ham United and England legend passed away at the age of 51 in February 1993, but he will forever be remembered due to his contribution to football. Moore was made captain of England at the age of 22 in 1963, and he went on to famously lift the World Cup trophy in 1966, eventually retiring from international football with 108 caps for the Three Lions.
Widely regarded as West Ham's greatest-ever footballer, he played more than 600 times for the Hammers over the course of 16 years, winning the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1964-65. Moore also famously had a spell at London club Fulham between 1974 and 1977, and there is absolutely no question that he is one of the best defenders to have ever taken to the field, with Pele previously branding him the best centre-back that he had ever faced. To mark the occasion of what would have been his birthday, here Sports Mole challenges you to name every England men's player to have reached triple figures for international appearances.
