Chocolate lovers were thrilled this week with the introduction of Snickers and Twix iced coffees at B&M stores. The beverages, which have been created in partnership with Victor Allen's Coffee, are being sold for £2.50 each for a 405ml bottle.

Images of the new indulgence were posted on Facebook's New Foods UK page, following last year's launch of Mars and Galaxy iced coffees. "Had the Snickers one today and it is really nice," one satisfied customer commented. "Oh wow and I'm going there today," chimed in another user.

A third person added: "The Twix ones lovely. Very sweet but I do have a sweet tooth." A fourth remarked: "They are decent sized bottles, bigger than the Costa ones.

I tried the Snickers it was really nice icy cold." However, not all shoppers were impressed with the size and taste of the products. "They are tiny bottles, they are okay drinks, nothing earth shattering though," one user criticised.

"These are absolutely vile, I tried them this weekend," a second added, speaking from experience. A third person declared: "Awful! Doesn't taste like coffee or snickers, terrible after taste of artificial sweetener. Waste of £2.

50." A fourth customer didn't find the product up to the mark, stating: "Definitely not worth £2.50.

Taste nothing like they are advertised." Meanwhile, a fifth shopper shared their experience: "Saw these earlier, first time seeing this post just now though. Didn't buy though, they sounded so sickly and gross so I just stayed clear.

" Victor Allen proudly boasts that the Snickers iced coffee incorporates "made with real cream and sugar to provide the best taste possible!" and details the satisfying blend: "Flavours of chocolate, caramel, and roasted peanut with a hint of sweet and salty goodness." Despite the negative feedback by some Facebook critics, it appears each bottle of the drink only contains a modest 220 calories, whilst the nutritional figures show a minimal fat content at 2.5g and a sugar tally of 40g.

Matching in caloric value, Victor Allen's Twix iced coffee product description rejoices: "Do you want the rich, creamy, and smooth taste of chocolate, caramel, and cookie with a hint of vanilla, but in a delectable ready-to-drink iced coffee?" The brand entices coffee lovers further: "Reach for this rich and delicious blend of Victor Allen's Twix Iced Coffee made with real milk and cream for the perfect blend of coffee and flavour! Chill it or pour it over ice. It's your pick for a delightful morning or afternoon indulgence take your pleasure when you will! Savour every sip thanks to the use of premium Arabica beans, ensuring a superior coffee taste that lingers.".
