The TikTok-viral chocolate treat is 'worth the wait' as the store prepares to release it's take on the treat B&M has shared a major update that fans of Dubai-style chocolate will want to pay attention to. The discount store posted a video on social media announcing it would be stocking a version of the viral treat 'soon', much to the excitement of shoppers. The treat has made headlines over the past few weeks as many flock to stores offering it in the UK.
B&M has its own version "coming soon", but fans must wait a little longer before racing to the checkouts. Taking to B&M's official Instagram account, an employee said: "I'm here to tell you that our Dubai chocolates are landing. And, to be honest, they are worth the wait.
" In a video, the worker was seen catching a 400g bag of Dubai-style chocolates, made famous by TikTok, and showing them to fans. It was confirmed that these delectable treats will be hitting store shelves throughout the UK, retailing at £4.99 per pack, reports the Mirror .
The staff member mentioned: "For just £4.99, you get 400g of Dubai chocolate, which would be perfect for sharing." He added: "If you want them all to yourself, that's fine, too.
" The video then reveals the soon-to-be-available DUB Dubai Chocolate packet displayed on a B&M shop shelf. Although no specific launch date was given in the teaser, it was implied that shoppers wouldn't have to wait too long to find these in their local B&M stores. If you're not aware, the famed Dubai Chocolate Bar, was first made by Fix Dessert Chocolatier in Dubai.
Its reputation surged online, particularly on TikTok. Originally named "Can't Get Knafeh Of It", the milk chocolate creation was filled with luscious pistachio cream and bits of crunchy kataifi (shredded phyllo pastry). It was inspired by knafeh - a beloved Middle Eastern sweet treat.
The internet has been buzzing with excitement over a chocolate treat that originated in Dubai, causing a frenzy among UK sweet lovers eager to get their hands on it. However, the cost of importing the original version can be steep. In response to the online hype, retailers and supermarkets have started offering their own versions of the Dubai-style delicacy, incorporating the key ingredients without the hefty price tag.
Brands such as Lindt, Home Bargains, and Lidl offer variations of the treat, whether in traditional chocolate bars, bite-sized morsels, or cakes. Aldi, the budget supermarket chain, recently revealed that customers will soon be able to purchase a frozen version of the viral treat. Earlier this month, Aldi introduced its Dubai-style Ice Cream and confirmed it would be available in store freezers from April 14.
To keep abreast of when B&M will release its version, follow their social media channels. Alternatively, you could visit stores in person, as the treats are likely to appear in the confectionery aisle soon..
