Apr. 8—MINOT — Winter weather and messy field conditions have made for an interesting start to the season for the Jamestown High School baseball team.Finally, after three postponements and a location change, the Blue Jays were able to able to get on the field.
Head coach Tim Ranum and his crew fell 12-2, 5-4 to Minot in game No. 1 of the 2025 season. Final stats were not available when The Jamestown Sun went to press.
The Blue Jays will be back in action on Thursday for a doubleheader against Mandan. First pitch between the Braves and Jays is set for 4:30 p.m.
Members of the Jamestown High School girls soccer team were practically perfect on Tuesday.The Blue Jays opened their season with a 3-0 shutout of Bismarck St. Mary's to start the year at 1-0.
