Blankets distributed to patients at province hospital

Siraha, Jan 7: Lahan municipalityof Siraha district distributed blankets to the patients receiving treatment atUma Prasad Memorial Province Hospital, Lahan. Municipality mayor Mahesh PrasadChaudhari handed over 65 sets of blanket to the patients to avoid cold. He informed that temperature wasdecreasing day by day, hitting hard the poor and marginalized people.

"Thewarm clothes would help patients stay away from cold," he said, addingthat the Tarai districts were facing cold wave in recent days. Dr Bijendra Kumar Yadav informedthat the blanket distribution was succor for those facing chill. It is also therelief to the hospital, he added.



There are 65 beds in hospital. (RSS).
