She claimed Blake Lively “tried to take advantage and take power” from director and co-star Justin Baldoni.“I feel like maybe Blake smelled his kindness, mistook it for weakness and tried to take advantage and take power,” Spencer said.



She also stated, “I think there was a massive compromise in terms of Justin’s original vision for the film.”In December 2024, Blake Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni for sexual harassment, citing “severe emotional distress.” In January 2025, Baldoni countersued Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and others, accusing them of civil extortion and defamation.

His filing claimed Lively began “inserting herself into the production process in intrusive ways well beyond the scope of her contractual entitlements.”According to Baldoni’s lawsuit, Lively demanded control over her wardrobe, rewrote lines for herself and others, and made threats to maintain influence. “It is well documented on film footage how frequently she requested changes,” the suit said.

He also claimed Lively demanded access to the editing process, even though her contract did not allow it. She allegedly threatened to withdraw from promoting the film unless the studio chose her version.Actor Adam Mondschein, who played Dr.

Dunbar, disputed Lively’s claims about being “nearly nude” in a birthing scene. He shared that Lively never voiced discomfort during the shoot. He noted Lively wore a hospital gown, black shorts, and a torso prosthetic.
