Matt Johnson (“BlackBerry,” “Operation Avalanche”) is reportedly on track to direct the initial film in a proposed live-action franchise based on the “Magic: The Gathering” property at Legendary and Hasbro Entertainment.No formal offer has reportedly been made to Johnson as yet as it’s early days, but he has reportedly emerged as the choice to direct according to Deadline.
