A wedding is the ultimate destination of two souls, where it's more than just a ceremony but it's a union of two souls, a celebration of love, culture, and tradition. According to Sanatan Dharma, marriage is not just a bond for this life but a sacred union that transcends seven lifetimes, symbolising the divine meeting of Shiva and Shakti. Recently, Syama, a Krishna devotee and a deity cosmetologist, as per her Instagram page, has taken the social media by storm with her exquisite bridal look as she tied the knot in a traditional Sanatani wedding.
For her big day, she wore a gorgeous red Banarasi saree with golden embroidery and border, a staple of Indian bridal fashion. She paired it with a half-sleeved matching blouse, keeping the look classic and refined. It was beautifully draped, and the pallu was secured over her side shoulder, and she wore a gold kamarbandh.
Looking at her jewellery, a gold choker with a heavy temple necklace and another pearl necklace, which added the right amount of layers of jewels to her look. Her ears sparkled with traditional gold jhumkas, which enhanced the overall richness of her attire. Coming to her makeup, she opted for a soft yet luminous bridal makeup look, with highlighted cheeks, soft eyeshadow, and white eyeliner.
The thing which stands out from her appearance was her Krishna tilak, an auspicious U-shaped chandan tilak with a red bindi and a tulsi leaf pattern on her nose, symbolising Lord Krishna’s lotus feet. Talking about the groom's look, he was dressed up in a cream bandhgala kurta with a dhoti. Their wedding was completed as per Santani rituals.
For her haldi ceremony, Syama wore a vibrant yellow Anarkali, perfectly suited for the auspicious occasion. She put on a real floral dupatta with a marigold-bordered edge, creating a dreamy and organic look. Her wedding ceremony was a heartfelt celebration of tradition, devotion, and exquisite fashion with a blend of spiritual and stylish elegance.
