The Black Satellites re­sumed camping to continue with preparations for the TotalEnergies U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.The team went on a week-long break, following their return from Morocco, where they participated in a three-nation tournament in Rabat.Under Coach Desmond Ofei, a 20-member team reported to camp yesterday for the final stretch of preparations for the championship, last won by the 2009 generation captained by Andre Ayew.

By the schedule released by the FA, THE Black Satellites will train in Accra and engage in a series of friendly matches before departing to Egypt for the 2025 U-20 cham­pionship that takes place from April 26 to May 18.Ghana has been paired in Group A alongside Côte d’Ivoire, Tanza­nia, and DR Congo.The Black Satellites would aim to claim their fifth continental youth title, having previously lifted the trophy in 1993, 1999, 2009, and 2021.



They also won the FIFA U-20 World Cup once in Egypt in 2009.Players invited include Yakubu Saeed from Medeama SC; Gide­on Aseako – Dreams FC; Antwi Dacosta – Young Apostle FC; Maxwel Azafokpe – Inter Allies; Obeng Desmond – Aduana FC; Moris Fuseini – Legon Cities and Tsivanyo Benjamin – Nsoatreman.The others are Emmanuel Makafui – Kings Palace; Kelvin Ahiable –Dreams FC; Manaf Abdul – Emmanuel City; Dennis Appiah – Bectero FC; Ishmael Addo – Heart of Lions; Hayford Boahen – Cheetah FC and Isaac Adjei – Bibian Gold Stars.
