In a sarcastic jibe, senior BJP leader Jayanarayan Mishra targeted the BJD on Thursday by saying that the ruling party in Odisha doesn’t want the Opposition party to be fully disintegrated. According to Jayanarayan, the BJD will completely disintegrate just at a whistle from the BJP. However, the BJP doesn’t want BJD to be reduced to zero.

“When the BJD leaders are not seeing any future in the party, they are jumping ship to the BJP quite naturally. They (BJD) should try to stop it. Let there be some people with them.

I will feel bad if the party (BJD) disintegrates completely. Let the party exist and live long. Let them be humiliated.

I never want to kill my enemy,” said Jayanarayan in a sarcastic note. Read Also: ‘BJD’s number will be reduced to zero in Rajya Sabha soon’ “Let the enemy live long. If there is no enemy, life becomes insipid.

Enemies are as useful as friends. If any BJD leader wants to join BJP, he is welcome. BJP’s aim is not to reduce BJD to zero.

The moment BJP blows the whistle, BJD will be completely disintegrated. There will not be a single man left in BJD. Even Naveen Patnaik will jump ship,” he added.

Notably, speculation is rife that many leaders from the Opposition party in Odisha are in line to jump ship soon. Discussions are doing rounds that some BJD leaders including Subhasish Khuntia and Niranjan Bishi may join the saffron party ranks soon..
