fm.Sifting through a background in theatre, film, and writing, Noh Bailey has begun to explore the world of music as a singer-songwriter. Inspired sonically by a kaleidoscope of artists ranging from The Velvet Underground and T-Rex to Nina Simone and Judy Garland, Noh’s music is that of a soulful storyteller that cuts right to the heart.



The Little Man Who Makes the Music, a new puppet show about live music by a newly formed puppet “crankie” troupe featuring Mo Schweiger, Bella Levavi, Esther Solomon, and Jules Tucher. Kat Adler (Z the Clown) is an interdisciplinary artist and producer, whose work includes improvisational and durational practices. They received a BFA in modern dance (2013) from the University of Utah at The School of Dance.

They now collaborate with Eggtooth Productions and individuals to create immersive theatrical experiences. Electronic music producer and performer Zadie Belfer-Shevett (zbs.fm) brings their experience as a composer and instrumentalist into the aesthetics of electronic music with shuffling dance grooves, synthetic tones, and intricate sequencing.

They use hardware to compose, produce, and perform a melodic and intentional blend of downtempo electronica, UK garage, and drum’n’bass.The performance is on Saturday, April 12th at 7:30 p.m.

Over wine, food, music, questions and stories will illuminate the Passover narrative, exploring its ancient resonance in an unparalleled year. This rare night of enlightenment, inspiration, darkness, and freedom will distill prayer to its essential elements through music and meditation.

Fairouz and Oum Kulthum perform songs from the queens of the Arabic canon, stretching between the sorrows of their days and ours, alongside folk songs, sufi poems and melodies, and new compositions the two performers have written together from within the longings of recent days. In welcoming the truth and grief of one another, the two make room for new sounds to emerge from the place of shared displacements that mark the stories of each of their communities.Tickets include a four course meal at the community tables in the barn.

The food and ceremony is offered in four movements echoing the four seder cups of wine: Sanctification, Deliverance, Redemption, and Praise, all integrating together in a nourishing of all sides of the collective being.The event is on Saturday, April 12 from 6:30 p.m.

Lush plants cascade from ceiling to floor, creating a living tapestry of nature. Delicate bird nests cradle eggs, symbolizing the eternal cycle of life and renewal. Through a harmonious blend of drawings, paintings, jewelry, sculptures, and floral design, the exhibition captures the essence of the natural world, inviting you to experience the rhythms of earth and rebirth.

The exhibit runs from April 12th to June 15th at Lapin Contemporary, located at 60 Roberts Drive, Studio 308, in North Adams. There is an opening reception on Saturday, April 12th from 4 p.m.

, Christ Trinity Church presents a special screening of Cecil B. DeMille’s 1927 silent epic, “King of Kings” with live music.This iconic retelling of Jesus Christ’s ministry and Passion has moved audiences worldwide since its premiere at Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood.

The enormous cast is headed by H. B. Warner as Jesus.

There are spectacular sets and beautiful cinematography, including two scenes in Technicolor. DeMille received his only Oscar nomination as director.‘King of Kings.

Donald Sosin and Joanna Seaton are among the world’s foremost silent film musicians, bringing their unique blend of keyboards, vocals, and percussion to film festivals worldwide, from Lincoln Center to Bangkok.

They have performed at the Norfolk Chamber Music Festival and Music Mountain, and are favorite guest artists at the National Gallery and at Italy’s annual silent film retrospectives in Pordenone and Bologna. They have created scores for over 65 silent film DVDs on the Criterion, KinoLorber, Milestone, Flicker Alley, and European labels, and they have taught silent film music workshops at universities around the nation.The screening is on Saturday, April 12th at 7 p.
