
GAMING is one of the rising and fast-growing industries in the Philippines this year. In his speech at the Asean Gaming Summit 2025, Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. (Pagcor) Chairman and CEO Alejandro Tengco said the country's gross gaming revenue (GGR) last year was recorded at P410 billion, a 25-percent increase from 2023.
Among the gaming contributors, brick-and-mortar casinos gave the most with P201 billion. With the Philippines' removal from the Financial Action Task Force, Pagcor also expected to have more foreign investments pouring in the country. Register to read this story and more for free .
