Billy Burns: I loved it at Ulster but Munster move has given me a new lease on life

Billy Burns is six weeks into his second act in Irish rugby, and on Saturday he’ll don the red jersey for the first time at Thomond Park against Connacht. Indeed, Tuesday’s open session at the stadium was his first run-out at the venue as a Munster player.

When Ulster told him he’d be surplus to requirements it was a blow, but within a week Graham Rowntree was in touch to offer him a fresh start — and he’s thoroughly enjoying it so far.
