The Buffalo Bills plan on selling items from their stadium upon conclusion of the 2025 season, the final year at the current Highmark Stadium.

The Buffalo Bills are preparing for their final season at Highmark Stadium this fall. The Stadium, which opened in 1973, contains the hallowed memories of the franchise for the past five decades. As the Bills set their sites on the new stadium just in shadows of their current home, some wonder about what will happen to some of the relics in the stadium.

Good news for Bills fans: they will have a chance to own a part of history. On Friday, Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz announced that items will be available for sale prior to the demolition of the current Highmark Stadium. “Items that are valuable in the stadium, which seats are, we have to sell those.

” Poloncarz said. While a specific plan is not in order yet, Poloncarz sees the Bills leading the way in assisting fans in obtaining a piece of history. “The Bills may be in charge of it through a third party, but then the proceeds will come back to the county so we are expecting the seats will probably be sold and people will have an opportunity to purchase those.

”The new Highmark Stadium is coming together right on schedule. The Bills are set to play their first football games at the new site in fall 2026.The current Highmark Stadium, according to Bills COO Peter Guelli, will be demolished in March 2027.
