The Buffalo Bills will look to get revenge for their 2023 playoff loss when they face the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Although this is a regular-season matchup, the outcome of the game may have a huge impact on playoff seeding down the line with both teams currently leading their respective divisions. The Bills may be without a crucial offensive starter for the game, as starting right tackle Spencer Brown is being ruled as questionable with an ankle injury.
If he's unable to play, undrafted backup Ryan Van Demark will start in his place. USA Today With Brown's status still up in the air, coach Sean McDermott made it clear that the team prepared to go with Van Demark. "We have full confidence in Vandy," said McDermott.
"Went in last week as you saw and did a great job for us. He just works extremely hard every day, every week. Very consistent player.

In his career, Van Demark has logged just 74 total offensive snaps, with nine of them coming last week against the Indianapolis Colts when Brown sustained his injury. While the team may feel confident in Van Demark, they would certainly feel more comfortable with Brown starting against an extremely stout Chiefs' pass rush, especially with defensive end Charles Omenihu potentially back in the lineup after being taken off injured reserve earlier in the week. Brown's status likely won't be announced until hours before game time, leaving fans to speculate who will be blocking for superstar Josh Allen on Sunday.
