Billionaire Elon Musk has revealed that he is obsessed with the ‘Diablo IV’, a video game released in 2023, so much so that he’s among the world’s top 20 players. During an interview on “The Joe Rogan experience” podcast, Musk said that he’s one of only two Americans in the top 20. For the unversed, Diablo 4 is a role-playing game where players control a hero who battles demons and undead creatures, using weapons and magic to complete various missions.
Players have 15 minutes to defeat monsters and a final boss, but each death reduces their remaining time. Successfully completing "The Pit" rewards endgame materials to upgrade gear, and since it's a challenging endgame dungeon, fast completion is a strong indicator of skill in Diablo. He stated, “If I play a video game on extreme difficulty, then I have to concentrate fully on the game.
It has a calming effect. It sort of chills down. Anything that forces you to concentrate fully has a calming effect — a kind of a mental restoring effect.

Musk believes that skills gained from being good at video games can translate into other fields.
He suggested that fast-reaction games require similar abilities, making a top-ranked gamer potentially well-suited for fields like surgery.
