Ludhiana: A local man and his relative, a Bihar police constable, were robbed on GT Road in the Daresi area early Saturday. The pair, en route to Phagwara railway station on a scooter, were stopped by five assailants who brandished a sharp weapon and stole cash, a mobile phone, and the scooter before escaping. The police have filed a case based on the complaint by Pramod Mandal, a resident of Iqbal Nagar.
Mandal, 58, reported that they were intercepted at 3.30 a.m.
