with the addition of a few new members. Kendall Schmidt , James Maslow , Logan Henderson and Carlos PenaVega will be taking their hit Nickelodeon show on the road with their upcoming Big Time Rush In Real Life Worldwide Tour . They’ll be playing every song from every episode in over 50 cities this summer, followed by a stint in Europe in November.

Former castmates Stephen Kramer Glickman and Katelyn Tarver , who played Gustavo and Jo in the show, will be the opening act. Also joining in on the fun are a few extra special guests—Schmidt’s and PenaVega’s kids. “Mine are a little bit older than Kendall’s, and they’re road warriors,” PenaVega, who shares sons Ocean , 6, Kingston , 5, and daughter Rio , 3, with Spy Kids actress Alexa PenaVega , told E! News in an exclusive interview.

“King said the other day, we got in the car and I put all the windows down, and he goes, ‘Daddy, it smells like tour.’” Schmidt, who shares daughter Maple , 11 months, with Mica von Turkovich , was candid about how having kids has changed the band’s dynamic. “It changed just because the priorities change,” Schmidt emphasized.

“If maybe we were all going to hangout longer at night, that’s just not a thing. We’ve all got responsibility.” PenaVega added that though they haven’t been able to spend much time together, their bond is as strong as ever.

“You just don’t lose that. We’re like brothers: we fight, we love, we slay, it’s family,” PenaVega explained. “And being on the road and being on stage is one of our most comfortable places, as crazy as that sounds.

” Schmidt hopes to share the bond with his daughter by passing on his passion for music. “When you have a kid, you start to give them things that you’re secretly hoping they pick up,” Schmidt said. “I’ve been giving my daughter little toy synthesizers, ones that are a little smaller and less complex.

Obviously she has no idea what’s going on, but I’m kind of hoping that she picks it up and figures it out.” The band also detailed their hopes to get back in the studio to release new music, along with a few artists they’d love to collaborate with. “We grew up around Ariana Grande , she’s awesome,” Maslow noted.

“We had TV shows on Nick at the same time and she has one of the most amazing voices.” The band also named Disney channel alum Miley Cyrus as a dream collab, as well as fellow 2010s boy band The Jonas Brothers . As Schmidt put it, “It would be weird, but cool.
