A video that once took over the internet has come back. Carlos PenaVega, a member from Big Time Rush, spilled the tea about the viral 'Call Me Maybe' by Carly Rae Jepsen video, which featured Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez , Ashley Tisdale, Alfredo Flores, Carlos and others. The video was posted in February 2012 around the time the hit song was heard everywhere.

The Big Time Rush member told the story about how the nostalgic 'Call Me Maybe' music video came about. He revealed that it started at his house with his ex at the time was best friends with Selena, who told Carlos that Justin was "obsessed" with the song. He told Access Hollywood: "They were over my house and Selena kept saying 'Justin is obsessed with this song, I don't know what to do.

It's just so annoying.' I get why he's obsessed with it so we pull out my Mac and we just started making 'Hey, I just met you.' Carlos went on to say that he kept recording these videos for like a month whenever people went over his house.

The clip from his interview was posted on the publication's TikTok with fans reminiscing on the video. One person commented: "Kids today will never understand how big this video was." Another person commented: "Finally we get the story behind this iconic video.

" A third person wrote: "Tbh I thought this was like all one big sleepover LMFOAOSA." A fourth commented: "This video was such a monumental moment in my life." The most iconic part of Carlos' 'Call Me Maybe' music video was when Justin and Selena were about to kiss in front of the camera until they were pushed away.

The two dated on and off from 2009 to 2018. Justin married Hailey Bieber in 2018 and welcomed their first child, son Jack Blues, in August 2024. Selena is also off the market and got engaged to music producer Benny Blanco in December 2024.
