Mickey Rourke agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother house following a discussion with Big Brother after his behavior and comments sparked concern

Micky Rourke's controversial behavior on Celebrity Big Brother has seen him forced into an early exit. Hollywood actor Rourke's exit follows after a decision by the reality TV show's team after multiple warnings from the show's bosses about Mickey's conduct , which included making homophobic remarks and fat-shaming comments towards other contestants. The news of Rourke's exit was revealed on Saturday, April 12 as a spokesperson announced: "Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behavior.

" In his short stint in the house he made homophobic comments towards JoJo Siwa, before then offending housemates Donna Preston, Ella Rae Wise and Patsy Palmer. However it's now thought he got into an altercation with Chris Hughes, which has not yet aired. Rourke was asked to leave with his bust up with Chris Hughes seen as the 'final straw' by the show producers.

In a task Rourke's final outburst came after Chris threw him the 'side eye during the task', which saw the housemates dressed up as pirates. The Sun has reported the situation escalated and then Mickey 'went for the star' as a source told the outlet: "Mickey didn't like Chris disrespecting him with the side eye and went for him with loads of smack talk. On this occasion it was offensive, threatening and aggressive.

However it didn't get physical and security nor producers did not need to intervene. Mickey was called to the diary room and in discussion about his ongoing bad behaviour, he agreed to leave." It remains to be seen whether Rourke will receive his full fee for taking part in the show, as typically celebrities are still awarded their money even if they're the first to be evicted.

However it's not clear what happens if they quit or are asked to leave. Before even stepping foot in the Big Brother house, Mickey had already sparked controversy when he was accused by viewers of giving host AJ Odudu an unsettling look. Upon his arrival on the show, he directed homophobic comments at JoJo Siwa, suggesting he could 'turn her straight'.

In a conversation, he questioned JoJo: "Where's the smoke room? Where's the cigarette room?" and then probed: "Do you like girls or boys?" "Me? Girls. My partner is non-binary," responded JoJo, to which Mickey retorted: "If I stay longer than four days, you won't be gay anymore." JoJo assured him: "I can guarantee I'll still be gay and I'll still be in a very happy relationship.

" Later, while walking into the garden, Mickey asked fellow contestant Chris if they had a say in who gets voted out. He expressed to the Love Island alum: "I'm going to vote the lesbian out real quick." Overhearing this, JoJo confronted him, saying: "That's homophobic, if that was your reasoning.

" While discussing a smoke break, he blurted out, "I need a fag," and then quickly pointed to JoJo clarifying, "I'm not talking to you." Chris Hughes jumped in, cautioning, "Mickey, you can't say that." Big Brother issued a serious reprimand, telling him in the Diary Room, "Mickey before you entered the Big Brother house the rules regarding unacceptable language and behavior were explained to you.

.. Mickey, do you understand how this language could be offensive to your Housemates or the viewing public?" n another incident, Mickey suggested to Donna Preston that she might "probably be better off running around the block for ten minutes" rather than expecting results from her LED face mask.

And in a recent episode, Patsy Palmer was brought to tears by Mickey's remarks about her culinary skills. Celebrity Big Brother airs on ITV and ITVX in the UK. Click here to follow the Mirror US on Google News to stay up to date with all the latest news, sport and entertainment stories.
