TUCSON, Ariz. — Shedeur Sanders threw for 250 yards and accounted for three touchdowns, and Colorado's defense shut down Arizona in a 34-7 win on Saturday. The Buffaloes (5-2, 3-1 Big 12) scored two early touchdowns and swarmed the Wildcats (3-4, 1-3) all afternoon to bounce back from last week's 31-28 loss to Kansas State.

Sanders threw for two touchdowns with two interceptions on 23-of-33 passing and ran for another score. Colorado converted 8 of 11 third downs while building a 21-point halftime lead and its defense held the Wildcats to 245 total yards. Arizona spent most of the afternoon chasing the Buffaloes.

The turning point of the first half came midway through the first quarter, with Arizona State leading 7-0. Arizona State (5-2, 2-2) running back Cam Skattebo fumbled deep inside his own territory. Bearcats defensive end Kameron Wilson recovered it at the 23-yard line, and Sorsby made up for an earlier interception with a 14-yard keeper to tie it at 7-all.

KANSAS 42, HOUSTON 14: Jalon Daniels had three passing touchdowns, plus one on the ground, as Kansas (2-5, 1-3) broke a five-game losing streak with a victory over Houston (2-5, 1-3) at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Cobee Bryant tied a Kansas record, set by Bill Crank in 1958, with three interceptions. The game marked Kansas' 112th Homecoming, though it wasn't played in-state because of reconstruction of KU's home stadium.

LATE FRIDAY NO. 13 BYU 38, OKLAHOMA STATE 35: Jake Retzlaff threw a 35-yard touchdown pass to Darius Lassiter with 10 seconds left to lift host BYU past Oklahoma State. Retzlaff threw for 218 yards and two touchdowns for the Cougars (7-0, 4-0 Big 12).

He also ran for 81 yards and a score. Oklahoma State (3-4, 0-4) has lost four straight. The Cowboys took the lead on Alex Bowman’s 6-yard pass to Brennan Presley with 1:13 left.
