Bidding farewell

Residents gathered Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Hanahan Middle School for a community event to celebrate the school’s upcoming renovation project and bid farewell to the current building. Visitors were allowed to walk the school's hallways one more time, write well wishes on a designated “graffiti wall,” and close the evening with a final ringing of the school’s bell in front of the building.
