1 2 Prayagraj : As part of preparations for Maha Kumbh 2025, the ' bhumi pujan ' of the reserve police line , to be set up in the mela compound, was done at the Parade area amid Vedic chanting in the presence of seers and several prominent people on Monday. Officials participated in the ceremonial yagna and prayed for safe conduct of the mela. Police commissioner Tarun Gaba, ADG Bhanu Bhaskar, IG Prem Gautam, Mela Adhikari Vijay Kiran Anand, SP Mela DCP Abhishek Bharti, Neeraj Pandey, DCP City Abhishek Bharti, DCP Vivek Yadav, SSP Rajesh Dwivedi, ASP (management) Praveen Chauhan, ASP (security) Asim Chaudhary, Additional Police Superintendent (traffic) Kuldeep Singh, Ashuman Mishra, etc.
were also present. According to officials, three police lines will be built in the fair area. Barracks, orderly room, order room, parade, and training centre will be built.
Since the area of Maha Kumbh has increased this time, the area of police stations has also been increased. At present, 56 police stations will be made for the Maha Kumbh. About 155 police posts will also be made ready.
