DIABETES has reached a global epidemic level, affecting over 420 million people worldwide, with numbers expected to rise beyond half a billion by 2030. In Malaysia, according to the National Health and Morbidity Survey 2023, 15.6% of Malaysian adults – that’s approximately 3.
