As the mother and daughter kicked off their media tour, a lawsuit surfaced. It accuses Jay-Z of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl with Sean “Diddy” Combs at a 2000 MTV Video Music Awards afterparty. Filed by Jane Doe, the lawsuit alleges that both men drugged and raped the minor.
Jay-Z has denied the allegations, describing them as false and defamatory. His legal team has criticized the claims. They believe it’s an attempt to extort money.
In a statement from his entertainment company , Roc Nation, the “Hard Knock Life (Ghetto Anthem)” rapper said he must “mourn yet another loss of innocence,” reports AP News . The former Destiny’s Child frontwoman took to Instagram after the Los Angeles premiere on December 9. She shared two photos of Blue in her gorgeous gold gown with the caption, “My gorgeous baby girl. This is your night.
You worked hard and you did such a beautiful job as the voice of Kiara. Your family could not be prouder. Keep shining.
” Beyoncé likely would’ve shared her support for her daughter regardless. But fans can’t help but read into the message, wondering if the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer is making a special public tribute to Blue as their family faces a lawsuit that could change their legacy forever ..
