Beverly J. Oberman OBITUARY Beverly J. (Krell) Oberman, 89, of Moore Township, died with her family by her side on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Adam “Pete” J. Oberman and celebrated 59 years of marriage together before he passed in 2015. She was the daughter of the late Robert and Doris (Holliger) Krell.



Beverly was a graduate of Tamaqua High School where she enjoyed playing in the drum and bugle corps. She remained close with her high school friends and continued to get together with them for years. Beverly loved working for Catherine Russell Insurance while living in Tamaqua.

She worked in the shoe department for the former Two Guys in Whitehall for many years. Beverly eventually retired from Agere as a clean room operator. Beverly was Christian and a very spiritual person.

She loved hosting family holidays and picnics and tending to her bird feeders. She was known for her iced tea and was lovingly known as “The Queen”. She is survived by her daughter Deborah Gemmel and husband John, son David Oberman and wife Jennifer and Glenn Oberman and wife Melissa, grandchildren Derek, Tara and Ryan, April and Jenna, Natalie and Weston, Chase, 8 great grandchildren and one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her sister Diane Boyle and brother Robert Krell. Her viewing will be held from 9:30-11am Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Brubaker Funeral Home, Inc. 234 Walnut St.
