Noting that the actors were in a six-year relationship, which began when the late Kim Sae Ron was only 15, her aunt went on to allege how the actor distanced himself from her after her DUI case in 2022. She also accused his agency, Gold Medalist, of adding more to Kim Sae Ron’s financial troubles, which she believes played a major role in her death. Earlier in February, Kim Sae Ron’s unexpected demise left the entire industry shocked.
While her death was ruled a suicide, it seems like fans are not as forgiving. The actor was linked to her demise, with some even dubbing it Sae Ron’s final revenge on him. However, this didn’t just end there, as fans have once again started criticising the actor for not supporting Kim Sae Ron and even for dating a minor.
A larger section of Korean individuals have been demanding companies drop him as their model or face boycotts. Kim Soo Hyun has been famously endorsed across many companies, including luxury fashion, cosmetics, retail and finance. Asserting that the recent claims against him do not align with the values of these brands, fans have been calling out for the termination of contracts.
