Obviously, there is a huge abundance of coffee shops and cafes in the area that will serve it, so it might be tough to find the best spots for the drink. Therefore, we thought it might be best to ask our readers for their recommendations. We put out a Facebook post asking the question and here are the responses we received.
Just under 70 comments were left on the post, with a fair few spots being recommended as great spots for a hot chocolate. Coffee at Adorned in Poole was one spot that received a few mentions, as one person wrote: "Coffee at Adorned in Ashley Cross absolutely hands down." Another agreed, sharing: "Coffee at Adorned also!.
..and the people there are pretty awesome".
Meanwhile, a third wrote: "Coffee at Adorned have amazing hot chocolates". The overall reputation of the establishment is well-received, with it earning a perfect 5/5 score on Google Reviews from 48 ratings. Alongside that, Jazz Cafe over in Sandbanks was highly commended for its offerings.
One person waxed lyrical about it, saying: "Jazz cafe in Sandbanks. Comes with flake, marshmallows on a big dollop of whipped cream. The best I've ever had in all my life.
" Similar sentiments were shared by others, as one said they liked the "special hot choc with all the trimmings." Another went to bat for Immaculate Coffee House in Tuckton, writing: "Zaya makes a great Hot chocolate with all the trimmings at Immaculate Coffee House in Tuckton. Quality ingredients and supporting local.
" One option at Castlepoint Shopping Centre received a few votes in Hotel Chocolat. A reader posted: "Hotel Chocolat at Castle Point..
. the cocoa whip" whilst another agreed saying they were "hooked". Other places that received a couple of comments of support included The Dog House Cafe in Poole and The Ducking Stool in Christchurch.
