BENNINGTON – Town Clerk Cassandra Barbeau was honored last month by the Vermont Municipal Clerks and Treasurers Association for completing requirements for Certified Vermont Clerk status. “I am excited and proud to have completed my Certified Vermont Clerk status,” said Barbeau, who was appointed to the post in 2014 after the death of longtime Clerk Timothy Corcoran.
