Benj Pasek and Justin Paul EGOT With OMITB

It’s the Bob and Carol and Ted and Alice reboot you’ve all been asking for: Pasek and Paul and Emmy and Grammy and Oscar and Tony. Benj Pasek and Justin Paul just got the E for their EGOT, winning a Creative Arts Emmy for the song “Which of the Pickwick Triplets Did It?” from Only Murders in the Building season 3. It was stiff competition for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics: frequent Creative Arts Emmy winner Maya Rudolph was nominated for her Mother’s Day Saturday Night Live monologue, as was the perennially slept on Girls5Eva.

But what did Pasek and Paul get their GOTs for? The pair won a Tony and Grammy for Dear Evan Hansen — the show and cast recording, respectively. And they won an Oscar for La La Land ’s “City of Stars.” That win shut out Lin Manuel Miranda from getting his EGOT.



And he’s not even going to do Moana 2 !.
