A Bengaluru businesswoman, S Jeeva, died by suicide after allegedly facing humiliation and a bribe demand from a CID officer investigating the Karnataka Bhovi Development Corporation scam. Jeeva's sister filed a complaint alleging that the officer, DSP Kanakalakshmi, stripped Jeeva during questioning and demanded Rs 25 lakh.
