Ben Shephard was left stunned on Wednesday's This Morning as one star appeared to let slip a Strictly Come Dancing detail. During the latest episode, Ben was surprised live on air for his 50th birthday and as the show kicked off, the presenter received several sweet messages from his famous pals and fellow co-stars. However, as Strictly Come Dancing finalist Chris McCausland delivered his message, he appeared to let slip a detail.
The comedian, 47, cheekily said: "I am sending you this message from my dressing room here at Strictly studios, a dressing room that I am told could be yours next year if you'd like it. Remember, 50, not too old..
. the contract's ready!" to which Ben appeared stunned at the message before smiling. Elsewhere, the sweet video montage included messages from Ben's former Good Morning Britain co-star, Kate Garraway , and fellow This Morning stars Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary.
Taking to Twitter , now X, viewers were quick to wish their own birthday wishes to Ben as one person said: "#ThisMorning Happy birthday Ben!!", a different account wrote: "Happy birthday Ben #thismorning", another put: "Happy 50th birthday Ben #ThisMorning" while a different viewer added: "Happy 50th birthday Ben #thismorning."
