Ben Affleck showed off his sense of humor as he posed alongside a picture of himself. The Hollywood star was snapped sitting on a bench at a bus stop in Santa Monica with a poster for his new movie The Accountant 2 clearly visible behind him. Perched on the seat Ben appeared visibly amused as he smiled while leaning back with his own face on the advertisement to his side.

The picture comes after Ben was snapped still wearing a wedding ring despite his divorce from ex-wife Jennifer Lopez. Fans were surprised to see the actor sporting the band on his ring finger - but there was an explanation behind the jewelry. Ben was snapped smoking a cigarette while wearing a wedding ring two months on from their divorce.

The Golden Globe winner was seen enjoying a coffee while on the set of Animals, a new Netflix movie he is writing, directing and acting in. A source has now said that actor, who was photographed wearing a button-down shirt with a blazer and a pair of dark blue jeans, was wearing the ring as he portrays a married mayoral candidate in the series. Ben, 52, stars in Animals alongside Kerry Washington, who plays his on-screen wife.

The industry insider said the movie is "another one of Ben's passion projects." The source told People, "He's both acting and producing. He’s always great to work with.

" They added, "Filming just kicked off, but it's been great so far. Ben's been in a great mood and super fun to work with." Ben is producing Animals, which began filming on March 7, through his and Matt Damon's production company, Artists Equity.

Matt was initially planning to star in the movie but had a scheduling conflict due to his work shooting Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey. Other celebrities starring in Animals include Gillian Anderson, Steven Yeun, Luis Gerardo Méndez, Adriana Paz, Ray Fisher, Mark Kassen and Christopher Woodley. Netflix hasn't yet shared plot details or a release date for the movie.

Along with the thriller, Ben has several projects coming up including the sequel to hit 2018 film The Accountant. He is reprising his role as Christian Wolff, a mathematics savant who has a talent for solving complex problems. The film also sees Jon Bernthal reprise his role as Brax and production company have already confirmed that The Accountant 3 is in the works.

He will also be working on Rip and Kiss Of The Spider Woman, both set to release later this year. The Accountant 2 is in theatres from April 25. Click here to follow the Mirror US on Google News to stay up to date with all the latest news, sports and entertainment stories.
