BEN Affleck had lunch with his children, Samuel and Seraphina, in Los Angeles on Friday ahead of the premiere of , a new film from his production company, at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). The star was spotted enjoying some fresh air, dressed casually in dark gray jeans and a plain white T-shirt, complemented with Nike sneakers. His characteristic stern expression was also noticeable.
Despite his role as a co-producer on alongside his longtime friend Matt Damon, Ben Affleck did not attend the film’s premiere at TIFF due to his ongoing divorce proceedings with Jennifer Lopez. Meanwhile, Lopez shone on the TIFF red carpet Friday evening, wearing a glittering silver Tamara Ralph gown with a striking slit up both sides for the premiere. This appearance marked her first major public appearance since filing for divorce from the actor on August 20 which coincides with the co stars second anniversary of their lavish wedding ceremony in Germany.
In a TikTok video shared by The Hollywood Reporter, Jennifer Lopez is seen saying “I’m a bad picker” several times to her co-star Bobby Cannavale, who at first seems to have difficulty hearing her. She laughs at her own frank confession and ends with the quip, “It is what it is.” While her remark could be interpreted as a jab at Affleck, 52, the singer might have been making a self-deprecating joke, considering she has been engaged six times and married four times.
