A beloved BBC presenter has had his popular travel show renewed for a third series after visiting places like the Caribbean and Italy.

Beloved BBC presenter Clive Myrie has had his hit travel show renewed for a third series. The BBC News At Ten and Mastermind host, who previously visited places like Italy and the Caribbean, will now explore the wonders of Africa in the upcoming series of his travelogue. Discussing the continent he once reported on as a correspondent, he said: “I was based in Johannesburg, working for the BBC, more than 20 years ago.

"It’s such an exciting, culturally rich and diverse continent, and I’ve always wanted to come back to explore it more deeply.” Remember that Italian road trip I went on last year? Now join me on a Caribbean Adventure! I’ll be exploring my personal connection to this gorgeous part of the world. Full series from Mon 27th May on BBC Two and @bbciplayer .

His Caribbean Adventure in 2024 saw him explore his Jamaican heritage while checking out places like Cuba and Barbados. In his upcoming Africa series on the BBC , Clive Myrie will go to Tangier to jam with the country's most famous Sufi musician before playing a bit of football in Nigeria, according to The Sun .

However, the most personal part of his trip will be in Ghana, where Clive will dig deeper into his family roots. He will take part in a sacred ceremony to the ancestors and will even be given the chance to take on a Ghanaian name.
