“Tonight was another great win against a quality team,” Bell County coach Brad Sizemore said. “I’m so proud of our guys. They continue to show up and play inspired basketball.
I thought we did a really good job rebounding in matching Corbin‘s physicality. It was another good win at home and hopefully we can continue to use this momentum moving forward to the next game.” Ryder Akins led Corbin (15-9) with 23 points while Evan Ellis finished with 13 points.
“Bell County looked the part tonight,” Corbin coach Tony Pietrowski said. “They shot it extremely well and held us in check offensively. Brad is an excellent coach and I can see why they have won so many games.
“I believe in my guys and expect us to stay the course,” he added. “We have a stretch of important practices coming up and anticipate them to respond in the correct fashion.”.
