Belangel was at his deadliest in the fourth, sparking a 12-9 counter that halted the Sonicboom’s late-game surge to level their series at 2-2. That set up a do-or-die clash this Sunday, April 20, with the victor earning a semifinal meeting against the Seoul SK Knights.
The former Ateneo standout also had five assists and one steal in 28 minutes of action, while Andrew Nicholson also produced. 19 points. It was Belangel’s fourth double-digit scoring for Daegu since the start of the quarters last weekend.
