BELA PADILLA – Actress Bela Padilla took to social media to rant about the nightmare traffic on EDSA, expressing her frustration over being stuck for hours in the congestion. The traffic situation on EDSA, one of the busiest thoroughfares in Metro Manila, is notorious for its congestion. Despite various measures implemented by authorities over the years, such as the Unified Vehicular Volume Reduction Program (commonly known as the number coding scheme), dedicated bus lanes, and the use of elevated walkways, traffic often remains a challenge due to high vehicle volume, bottlenecks at intersections, and limited road space relative to demand.

Bela Padilla recently expressed her frustration with the infamous traffic situation along EDSA through her Instagram Stories. The actress-director-screenwriter took to social media to share her experience of being stuck in a traffic jam for more than two hours. In the Instagram post, Bela Padilla shared a photo showing the view from inside her car, as she was heading to an event.

Her frustration was evident as she wrote, “What kind of nightmare is EDSA pretending to be today,” She continued to vent, revealing that despite already being in traffic for two and a half hours, the app she was using to track her route indicated she was still over 30 minutes away from her destination. “2&1/2 hours stuck now and wave says I’m still more than half an hour away,” Bela added, emphasizing just how long the ordeal had lasted.
