Behind two first-half interceptions from Behren Morton, the Texas Tech Red Raiders trail the No. 11 Iowa State Cyclones 13-10 at halftime of their Big 12 Week 10 matchup at Jack Trice Stadium in Ames, Iowa. The Red Raiders found the end zone first on the game's initial drive with a 35-yard touchdown pass from Behren Morton to Josh Kelly for an early 7-0 Texas Tech lead.

The second quarter was all defense and both offenses struggled to move the ball.
Morton threw his second interception of the day with just 30 seconds remaining in the half. Iowa State was able to convert that to a 20-yard touchdown pass from Becht to Jayden Higgins for the first Iowa State lead of the game at 13-10 with just four seconds left. Both quarterbacks have been hit on the day as Morton has been sacked three times to Cyclones quarterback Rocco Becht's once.
Both teams had one fumble each, but none lost. Morton is 13-of-22 for 139 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions while Becht is 12-of-21 for 172 yards and one touchdown. Brooks has seven carries for 35 yards for the Red Raiders and Hansen has 29 yards on five carries for the Cyclones.
Josh Kelly leads all Red Raiders with five catches for 87 yards and a touchdown while Higgins leads the Cyclones with 99 yards on seven catches and a touchdown.
