Today looks to be the last of a few days where it has been mild for much of the region. The sun will shine on through for the early morning, but by the afternoon, clouds will gradually increase, and so will the winds, picking up to around 15-25 mph out of the west. Highs stay near 40° today, but by tonight, temperatures tumble into the 20s, and we have some chillier days ahead.
Tomorrow will remain blustery, as that wind shifts more to out of the northwest, and with mostly cloudy skies, temperatures look to top out in the mid-20s for much of the afternoon, with the chance for a few flurries in the evening. ADVERTISEMENT Wednesday and Thursday look to be the coldest days this week, with highs staying in the teens and single digits respectively. Wednesday night particularly will be pretty cold, with lows dropping below zero.
However, this next cold snap looks to be brief, as by the weekend temperatures do look to rebound towards the freezing mark..
