A Bolton hairdresser has opened a new salon which she hopes will bring “a slice of Dubai” to Horwich. Natasha Weaver, 23, is originally from Halliwell and spent the last year working as a senior hairdresser in Dubai and taking courses to expand her skills. She said: “I absolutely loved Dubai but I didn’t want to settle there, so I thought why don’t I just go home and bring Dubai back with me? “It’s the best of both worlds!” Natasha, along with her husband, opened Havené Salon on Wright Street in Horwich to bring the styles, colours and interiors of Dubai salons to Bolton.

She said: “I always wanted my own salon, but I didn’t think it was in my plans. “I wanted to set myself apart, all the salons in Dubai are so different – they want different things to the clients in the UK.

“The salons over there always feel set apart – they’re very luxurious. “It’s completely different than here; the styles are different, the colourings are different – literally everything is completely different than here.” Hairdresser and beautician Natasha Weaver wants to bring a slice of Dubai to Bolton (Image: Natasha Weaver) Natasha says she’s surprised by the success it’s had so far, and bookings have been rolling in even though she’s been open for a short time.

She said: “I’m completely booked, I didn’t even think it was going to be like that. “I thought it would be quite busy, but I’m working 12 hour days, 6 days a week. “It’s only this morning that I haven’t got anybody in until half 10.
