Enjoy picture-perfect weather Tuesday with seasonal highs near 70, partly sunny skies and light winds! Tonight will be mostly clear and calm with lows near 50 degrees. An isolated shower is possible Wednesday morning/midday. Rain totals will be low.
Wednesday afternoon will be windy and warmer with highs nearing 80 degrees and south winds at 20 mph. Highs will surge to near 90 on Thursday and strong south winds will elevate fire danger.A powerful storm system approaches on Friday.
Storm chances increase Friday night, as a cold front moves into our state and stalls out. A few storms could be severe with wind and hail as the main threats. Showers and storms continue Saturday with localized flooding possible.
The flooding potential depends on where the front stalls-out. The heaviest rain will likely occur early Sunday. Easter is NOT as washout as dry air wraps into the system, drying out most of the state in the afternoon.
Our stormy weather pattern continues next week with more severe weather possible Tuesday. Stay tuned!.
