The time has finally come. With high expectations, many expected Week 18 to mark the end of a successful season. While it may not end in a playoff berth, it would at least instill confidence in the city of Chicago for years to come.
Instead, the 2024 season was one to forget. Following a pathetic 6-3 loss to the Seahawks , marking Chicago's ten straight loss, Bears fans are ready for the season to end. To end the season, the 4-12 Chicago Bears will travel to Lambeau Field to play the 11-5 Green Bay Packers.
Let's examine the Bears Week 18 injury report before Sunday's game. #Bears Friday Injury Report pic.twitter.
com/u9qlCVrReH DB Elijah Hicks (Ankle,) RB Travis Homer (Hamstring), and OL Teven Jenkins (Calf) are all listed as OUT for Sunday's game. All three players were unable to play in Week 17 against the Seahawks. Teven Jenkins, in year four of his rookie contract, has likely played his last snap in a Chicago Bears uniform.
Injuries have plagued Jenkins's time with the Bears, missing most of his rookie season due to a back injury. With change coming across the board for the Bears, Jenkins will likely be gone. DB Tarvarius Moore (Knee) returns to the field after being held out of Week 17 with a knee injury.
OL Larry Borom, DB Kyler Gordon, and WR Rome Odunze were limited in practice this week due to "illness," though all practiced in full on Friday and have no injury designations for Sunday. See you Sunday. Bear Down.
