The rivalry between the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears is one of the greatest in all of sports. There is no love lost between the two fan bases, and if you play for one team, you have to hate the other. It just is what it is.

Bears quarterback Caleb Williams is no exception to the rule, even if he just entered the NFL last year. The former No. 1 overall pick recently teamed up with legendary Chicago signal-caller Jim McMahon—who ironically won a Super Bowl with the Packers as Brett Favre's backup—for a Topps commercial in which McMahon was coaching Williams on how to sign autographs.

At one part of the ad, Williams autographs a card with the phrase "Green Bay sucks," to which McMahon replied, "I like it, but no." It was actually a pretty funny bit, and it's just some good-natured fan, but you can already tell that Williams will fit right into the fierce rivalry between the two NFC North squads. The Packers have certainly had the Bears' number in recent years and went 2-0 against Williams and Co.

this past season, although both of the games were very close. Green Bay will definitely have to contend with a likely improved Chicago club in 2025, as Williams has a year under his belt, and the Bears will have a new coach in Ben Johnson who may light a fire under the offense. That being said, the Packers certainly won't be afraid of Chicago, as Green Bay won 11 games itself in 2024 and is one of the youngest teams in football.

Ergo, things can only get better moving forward for the Packers. One thing is for sure, though: the quarterback comparison between Jordan Love and Williams will absolutely be an intriguing one for years to come..
