A scared Kamloops feline didn’t have to use one of its nine lives to escape a terrifying situation this week at the BC Wildlife Park. According to park officials, a small cat was spotted by guests high in a tree inside the arctic wolf enclosure. “Thanks to their observation, our team was able to safely move the wolves to one side of their habitat, which allowed our facilities team to bring in a tall ladder and carefully rescue the little one,” .

“We are happy to report that the cat, who fortunately was wearing a collar with contact information, was safely returned to its owner from the nearby Campbell Creek neighbourhood.” The post said the situation serves as a good reminder to pet owners to make sure pets are wearing a collar with contact information..
