Police in B.C. are confirming that a suspect in a road rage incident that left two people injured in Mission has been shot and killed in Langley.

Johnathan Hebrada-Walters, 38, from the Edmonton area, was found dead Sept. 21 and investigators say his murder is related to the B.C.

gang conflict. His death comes after a road rage incident Sept. 8 that resulted in police releasing images of him and Amber Jenelle Toews in an effort to locate them.

Police said a couple from Mission was in the Tim Hortons drive-thru at Lougheed Highway and Cedar Valley Connector around 10 a.m. when they honked at the car in front of them because they were not moving forward in the lineup.

Once they drove out of the drive-thru, the people in the other vehicle drove up beside them and the woman threw a coffee cup at their vehicle. The couple told police the vehicle followed them for two kilometres until Bakerview Avenue and Cedar Street. Two people got out of a Malibu and assaulted the couple with a baseball bat before driving off, according to Mission RCMP.

A 21-year-old woman and a 20-year-old man from Mission were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Police did find and seize the Malibu, but nobody was inside of it. New charges in road rage incident Meanwhile, Toews, 35, also from Edmonton, has been charged with assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, and mischief under $5,000 in connection with the road rage incident.

A Canada-wide warrant has been issued for Toews. Police say she is known to travel around B.C.

and other western provinces. Police do not believe that she returned to Alberta. Toews has short blond hair, a sleeve tattoo on her left arm and a tattoo on her right thigh.
