Strictly Come Dancing fans have claimed that Shayne Ward was 'set up' with his latest performance due to a double move. The actor and singer was back in the dance floor alongside professional partner Nancy Xu on Saturday night (November 9). They returned to the ballroom for week eight of the BBC One dance contest with the notoriously difficult rumba, which they performed to Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper.
While Shayne admitted to enjoying the performance, judge Motsi Mabuse told the former Coronation Street star that it "was not one of your best dances". Head judge Shirley Ballas had a more positive outlook and said the two were beginning to develop a chemistry and the pair were given 30 points. " But Strictly fans couldn't help but point out that Shayne faced the second spot in the running order a position widely referred to as the "death slot" and felt his dance also landed him in hot water in terms of facing a possible exit from the hit dance show. @josephfelldown said: "So Shayne has both the rumba *and* the death slot.
