Pete Wicks has told fans Strictly Come Dancing 'won't be the same' as he and Jowita Przystal made it through to another week. The pair were seen competing during week five of the BBC One dance contest over the weekend. On Saturday night (October 19), podcast host and reality star Pete faced the notoriously difficult rumba with his dance partner in the hopes of making it through to the show's iconic Halloween special.

Pete admitted he was not a fan of the dance, which he and Jowita performed to the Oasis track 'Don't Look Back in Anger' while sporting a 'wet' look, and after his performance, the pair achieved a score of 22 having failed to catch the attention of all of the judges. It's now been revealed that they'll be performing this Saturday (October 26) as the Joker and Harley Quinn, with work already underway on Monday (October 21).

Meanwhile, Jowita took to social media to heap praise on Pete and share her thanks to the fans who voted them through. Alongside pictures of the pair taken behind-the-scenes over the weekend, the dancer and former Strictly champ said: "Thank you!!!! Thank you for all the love we received after yesterdays performance! It was a very special night for us. Having both our mothers and my little brother in the audience meant the world.

"@p_wicks01 you’ve done everything what we worked on in the reh room but most importantly you trusted me fully, you completely let go and I must say I’ve got emotional after our performance. Wouldn’t change a thing! It was perfect! Another week of dancing with you and I cannot be more happier. Joker and Harley here we go! #thankyou #petejowita.

" Pete was left gutted by Paul's exit from the competition (Image: Pete Wicks Instagram) Pete, however, was quick to reflect on the loss of Paul Merson after he and his professional dance partner Karen Hauer became the fourth couple to leave the show over the weekend. Sharing a snap of himself and Pual together on his Instagram Story, the former The Only Way is Essex star said: "Won't be the same without you mate @paulmersonoffical. Gentleman and one of the funniest blokes I've ever met!".
