A BBC radio host delivered a sharp 10-word jab at Meghan Markle during a live broadcast. On Monday's edition of BBC Radio Four's Today show, presenter Nick Robinson made a quip about the 43 year old Duchess of Sussex, who was said to be trying to find ways to "save" her podcast after a 'disgrace" move , while discussing American celebrities. In a conversation about celebrities like American TV personality Gayle King and pop star Katy Perry leading space trips with Jeff Bezos 's rocket company Blue Origin, Robinson took a 10-word dig at Meghan.

He remarked: "Surely Meghan Markle 's got to be on the next one [rocket]." Upon learning that Prince Harry 's wife is friends with Gayle King, he added: "Ah, it's only a matter of time." It's speculated that the presenter was poking fun at the mother-of-two for her penchant for exploring various projects, ranging from Netflix shows to beekeeping and cooking.

Robinson's comment follows the recent launch of Meghan Markle 's brand a few weeks ago, which saw her As Ever products become available online for the first time, reports the Express UK. The launch was deemed a success, with all products selling out in less than an hour. This is just one of several projects Meghan is currently focusing on, as the duchess also debuted her podcast Confessions of A Female Founder last week.

While the Duchess is engaged in numerous projects, her spouse, Prince Harry , 40, appears to have minimal involvement in these. Instead, the couple are concentrating on their individual professional commitments.

Just last week, Harry — who stepped away from Royal duties with Meghan in 2020 — was in Ukraine working with The Invictus Games Foundation as part of his philanthropic endeavors. Meghan did not join her husband on this journey, which he embarked on immediately after attending court hearings in the UK concerning his security entitlements. She chose to stay home, focusing on her own work projects alongside their two children, Prince Archie , 5, and Princess Lilibet , 3.
